Is Moonshot Daily legit?
Checked 2026-10-23.
The two game-owned privacy notices were checked on 23 October 2026. Their statements about accounts, ads and payments are summarized here as operator claims, not a security certification or a finding that either game is a scam.
The .org privacy page says there is no account. Progress sits in localStorage. After a flight it sends the score, the answers, and a random player id so it can compute rarity. It says it does not store an IP address or a name against those answers. It names Plausible, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense. That is the site's description of itself.
The .com privacy page, dated 13 October 2026, says no ads, no tracking cookies, and that it does not sell player data. An account is optional and limited to ages 13 and up. Google or email login is offered. Supabase holds the account. Cloudflare hosts the site. Stripe handles the pass. The pass is not required to play.
Neither page is a third-party audit. If a link asks you to install an APK or to pay in gift cards, that is not what these two sites describe. Use the play page and the two hostnames above. Payment specifics: Flight Pass.
Questions people ask
Is this a security certification or community consensus?
No. This page summarizes the operators' published notices. It is not an independent security audit, and it does not claim Reddit, Discord or other communities endorse either game.
Should I buy the pass?
Only on .com, only if you want the extra flights. The daily game is free. Stripe processes the $5. Details are on the Flight Pass page.
